Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Shoulder Waxing.

Prepare by ensuring hair is at least 1/4 inch long, exfoliate gently 24–48 hours before, avoid sun and heavy moisturizers the day of, and arrive clean. Pain management options and aftercare instructions will be provided by your technician.

Some discomfort is normal, but sensitivity varies. Our technicians use fast technique, quality wax, and skin-soothing products. Numbing creams can be used on request. Discuss allergies or skin concerns during booking to tailor the treatment and reduce irritation.

Most clients experience smooth shoulders for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth. With regular waxing, hairs often grow back finer and sparser, extending intervals between appointments and improving overall texture and appearance.

We do not wax sunburned, irritated, broken, or recently tattooed skin. Wait until the area is fully healed — usually 1–2 weeks. Contact us if unsure; a technician will assess your skin and advise the safest timing.

Aftercare includes gentle exfoliation after 48–72 hours, lightweight moisturizers, and avoiding tight clothing or heavy sweating for 24–48 hours. These steps reduce ingrown hairs and irritation. Ask about post-wax serums or topical treatments we recommend.

Schedule recurring appointments every four to six weeks for consistent results, adjusting timing based on your personal growth cycle. Regular waxing can thin hair over time; our booking team can set reminders to maintain your preferred look.
