Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Arms Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth arms for four to six weeks, depending on hair growth rate and individual hormone levels. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and soften hair. Touch-ups are recommended every 4-6 weeks for consistent results.

Some discomfort is normal during waxing, especially first time. Our estheticians use calming techniques, quick pulls, and high-quality wax to minimize pain. Apply a mild topical numbing or take ibuprofen beforehand if sensitive, and avoid caffeine for reduced sensitivity.

Ensure hair is at least ¼ inch long for effective removal; exfoliate lightly 48 hours prior and avoid moisturizers the day of service. Arrive with clean, dry skin and inform your esthetician about medications or recent sun exposure.

Avoid waxing if you have sunburn, open wounds, active skin infections, recent chemical peels, or certain medications like isotretinoin. Pregnant clients and those with circulatory issues should consult their doctor. Discuss health history with your esthetician prior to treatment.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, vigorous exercise, and direct sun for 24-48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or fragrance-free moisturizer, wear loose clothing, and exfoliate gently after 3-5 days to prevent ingrown hairs. Contact us for any prolonged irritation.

Certain topical or oral medications increase sensitivity and bruising risk. Inform us about retinoids, antibiotics, or acne treatments. We may recommend delaying waxing or performing a patch test. Your esthetician will advise the safest timing based on your medication history.
