Get answers to common questions about Nose Waxing.

A technician applies a gentle wax to the interior and exterior nasal edges, removes hair quickly, and checks comfort. Sessions are brief—typically under ten minutes. Expect mild, short-lived sting and immediate clean results. Technician explains aftercare to minimize irritation and swelling.

Nasal waxing can be done on sensitive skin but requires extra care. We consult first, use gentler wax, and may perform a spot test. If you have active skin conditions, infections, or severe allergies, waxing may be contraindicated and alternatives are recommended.

Results usually last three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth and care. Waxing removes hairs from the root so regrowth is slower than trimming. Regular appointments can extend smoothness and may result in finer regrowth over time.

No—waxing does not make hair grow back thicker or darker. Regrowth may feel coarser at first because of the blunt end, but over repeated treatments hair often becomes finer. Hormones and genetics, however, influence individual results.

Avoid touching or picking at the treated area, skip swimming and heavy exercise for 24 hours, and keep the nose clean. Use a cool compress or recommended soothing gel for irritation. Contact us if you notice excessive swelling or signs of infection.

Pregnancy, blood-thinning medications, certain skin conditions, and immune-suppressing treatments can affect suitability. Always disclose medications and health concerns during consultation. We may adjust technique or recommend alternatives and advise physician approval when necessary.
